also in that gifset I just reblogged hiccup is pivoting on his pegleg and like all i can imagine is how much practice that took. I mean, imagine him trying to finding her bearings on the new pegs he makes. Because let’s be honest, his phantom foot probably still pops up every now and then and he’s struggling to get to the point of acceptance with it or maybe i’m reading too much into things and forcing angst upon him but whatever back on topic, hiccup is not graceful. never. but suddenly he can make a clean balanced ballerina spin, i mean, imagine hiccup idly spinning on his pegleg because he’s bored, imagine hiccup practicing that maneuver and wasting all his zippleback gas (which is a bad thing no hiccup you need that) and having to walk all the way over to ruff and tuff’s place to grab some more i mean i mean i meaaaaaan
